Dear Sound Team,
So you may have read my Carissa’s Wierd post a few days back. It was kind of dark and bleak, and I feel it was somewhat out of place for a person whose first name is gentle. But I think I am past that for the moment. I don’t know, there seemed to be something about my krunk weekend in Louisiana that got all of that out of me, at least for a little while. Sure, I still feel all of those stressful feelings, but somehow now I am a bit more optimistic. My mom also tells me that this upcoming year will be mine (She’s really into horoscopes, and consequently tells me this every year at the onset of my birthday). But she also tells me that I need to find a young wife who can bear me lots of children, and who won’t mind that I am at least 27 years old.
Anyway, you are probably bored by all of this and would instead like me to focus on praising your music. To tell you the truth Movie Monster is a little hit and miss. But when it hits, it hits like a vampire bat, or a leprechaun who will use any force necessary to get back its pot of gold*. “Born to please” will take you by any force necessary. And if that means that you ate the gold in attempt to hide it from the leprechaun, it will extract the gold from your stomach*. And then, the double vocal in the last chorus will jump on a pogo stick and pounce you to death*.
Happy Halloween
Rob
